Right then! My daydreaming hat is firmly on and I’m ready to drift off into the world of endless home improvement possibilities! I only hope that my wife understands that this is MAKE BELIEVE. Anything mentioned here is not going to happen any time soon and she should refrain from reaching for the credit card under the assumption that this

Firsr up, Build a Conservatory
One way of easily adding extra space to any home is with a conservatory. This is probably something that we will actually do at some point in the future. But as of right now we don’t have the money. If someone dropped 20K in my bank account – hint hint, reader – then we’d probably do it. Unfortunately, that hasn’t happened yet.
Buy Windows with Safety Locks
Having a toddler can be a right nightmare. They constantly love to seek danger and their ability to climb is astonishing. This only becomes a real problem in the summer. You know, the time of year you want to keep the windows open. What I’d love is to be able to keep them open without the fear of finding my daughter dangling out of one of them.
I’d love to keep an eye out for window special offers and maybe one day sort it out! But it’s just not realistic from a money aspect at the moment.
Pay a Landscaper to Sort the Garden Out
We have a fairly large garden that’s essentially been split into three parts. If we’re honest, we’ve done that for one main reason: we can’t be arsed to sort it all out. Instead, we managed to sort out the bit by the patio door so it’s suitable for the dogs and for our daughter. As for the rest? Well, let’s just say it’s less than perfect.
But, if I could do whatever I wanted, then I’d want to do something a little bit weird and turn it into some sort of Japanese Zen garden. Basically this:
Build a Castle Turret
At the start of this post, I mentioned that I would think about things that I would do if logistics were not an issue. Well, this is one of those things. Most people can easily build a conservatory or replace their windows should money be no issue, but not many people will ever be able to attach part of a castle to their home. How EPIC would this look!
Of course, the added benefit of having a castle turret attached to your house would be in the inevitable event of the zombie apocalypse. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think you’d survive very long if you just sat in your turret, but at least you’d be able to survive the
